About MOUVE
MOUVE® by Dancing with Louise is a dance school and performing arts academy based in Hendon, North London, founded by Louise Leach in 2001. We teach ballet, street dance, hip hop, contemporary, jazz, drama, and dance gymnastics to children aged 2 through to 18. MOUVE also runs MOUVEit! zumba and dance fitness classes for women in Hendon and Hampstead Garden Suburb, holiday camps during every school break, and provides professional dancers for Bar Mitzvahs, corporate events, and private parties. How It Started
From a Ballet Class to 1,000 Students
Louise Leach found her passion for dance at the age of three, starting with ballet before adding tap, modern jazz, and drama. In 2001 she appeared on ITV's Popstars alongside Kym Marsh, Myleene Klass, and Suzanne Shaw — but it was teaching, not performing, that became her calling.
That same year, Louise started Dancing with Louise with a single class and a handful of students in Hendon, North London. In 2020 the school became MOUVE — and today it's one of North London's most established performing arts schools.
MOUVE now teaches over 1,000 students every week across 80+ classes at our Hendon studio, 20 primary school dance clubs, and zumba and dance fitness sessions in Mill Hill and Hampstead Garden Suburb.
