Hi friend, I’m Louise Leach, the founder of Dancing with Louise in London.
I may have seen you at a Zumba class recently, or maybe I helped you find the perfect class for your child. You might have sent your children to one of our summer camps, or maybe you found me because you just Googled “dance lessons in London.” Either way, I’m glad you’re here.
I found my passion for dance at the tender age of three when I first started with ballet. Later, I added tap dancing, drama and modern jazz. In 2001, I was on the show “Popstars” alongside Kim Marsh, Mylene Klass and Suzanne Shaw and out the same round is Darius Danesh. I went on to complete my dance and Drama training with ISTD, LAMDA and ZUMBA, more recently becoming a certified DANCELY and Acrobatic Arts PreSchool Studio.
I loved the sense of creativity and community I felt every time I started dancing. The joy and confidence dance has brought to my own life sparked my idea for Dancing with Louise and it has been my passion ever since, to share my passion and make dance accessible to everyone no matter their age, dance experience or background.
In the past 20 years, we’ve grown from a handful of girls to over 1000 students offering in excess of 100 weekly classes and school clubs. Our summer camps are regularly sold out. Our courses promote fitness, fun, and a safe social environment in a world of social media and screen overload.
As a passionate dance teacher, my hands-down proudest accomplishment is seeing the feeling of community and friendship we have built in our classes. My favourite part of being a small business owner is the people; I’m a big believer that everyone can dance, and I love seeing our clients develop new skills, discover their talent, and give them confidence that spills over all areas of life.
